Dr. Jay
Kulkin, Founder of Women's Institute For Health in
Atlanta, is an internationally recognized laser expert
invited to teach continuing medical education seminars
in the US and other countries. He has also created
the curriculum for many of these meetings used to
teach doctors about laser techniques. He is
a Board Certified Gynecologist and is often
quoted in the media and featured on a number of TV
networks including CNN and CBS Atlanta on women's
health issues. As one of the countries experts
in Laser Hair Removal techniques he is invited to
lecture in an ever growing list of cities including
Boston, Washington, DC, New York, Memphis, Nashville,
St. Louis, Montreal, Los Angeles and Toronto to name
just a few. He is a Fellow (the highest distinction
acheivable) of the American Society for Laser
Medicine and Surgery and is the former Executive Director
of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia Women's
Health Program, which he was instrumental in creating.
Dr. Kulkin is committed to bringing the latest advances
in women's health and laser research to his patients.
Though Board certified in GYN, he sees many male patients
for laser services.
As an advocate
in women's health issues, Dr. Kulkin is a member of
the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
where he was selected to serve on the Practice Management
Committee, former Vice-Chair of the American Association
of Health Plans Women's Subcommittee and is a former
member of the Georgia Governor's Office of Women's
Health Leadership Think Tank.
He has served
on the Boards of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation and the American Heart Association. In
addition, Dr. Kulkin speaks nationally addressing
women's health issues. He was appointed as a Fellow
in the DHHS Medical Policy Program. This program is
designed to create national policy to improve the
quality of health care for all Americans. He presently
trains doctors around the United States, Canada and
other countries in his unique laser techniques which
have made Women's Institute For Health Atlanta's Laser
Hair Removal leader.
