The beauty of the Affirm is that we are able to accomplish this with NO down time.  You can choose to apply make up immediately after the procedure.  Most of our patients have facial redness that lasts about 24 hours while few may be red for 48-72 hours.  It is most uncommon for us to use even a topical numbing cream and there is no discomfort after the procedure.
